THEBAULT INGENIERIE WORKING ALONGSIDE SCHREIBER ON THE DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION OF THEIR NEW FOOD PRODUCTION SITE IN CLERY LE PETIT (MEUSE)

THEBAULT INGENIERIE, leader in the design and construction of food factories, will be working alongside SCHREIBER on the construction of their new production site in Cléry le Petit (Meuse). This project will enable this major player in the food sector to supply the retailer SYSTEME U with dairy products.
SCHREIBER’s first site in France
SCHREIBER, a leading player in the food sector, specialising in the transformation of dairy products, will be setting up premises in Cléry le Petit in North-Eastern France next year. This first base in France will enable the business to fulfil its contract with Système U to supply them with yoghurts, fresh cheeses and desserts from 2019.
A close partnership between SCHREIBER and THEBAULT INGENIERIE
From the start of the project, the teams at SCHREIBER and THEBAULT INGENIERIE worked in close collaboration to design this 9160 m² project, which is based around areas dedicated to receiving supplies, preparing the ingredients, the industrial process, dry and wet packaging, heat treatment and cooling, storing and dispatching. By talking things over all the time and listening carefully, it was possible to take into account all the different constraints and establish an overall schedule, which should see the building become available in July 2018 after nine months of work led by the THEBAULT INGENIERIE work crews.

The company’s ability to manage large-scale food projects was one of the deciding factors, when SCHREIBER entrusted them with running this operation. The construction of this new production unit comes after the handover by the THEBAULT INGENIERIE teams of several other projects for major players in the food sector.
