THEBAULT INGENIERIE, which specialises in the design and construction of turnkey projects involving food processing factories, has just handed over the keys for a logistics warehouse to CROC’FRAIS in Mignières (Eure-et-Loir). This building, which measures more than 2000 m² required eight months of work and will enable the company specialising in olives and tapenades (olive pastes) to continue to develop.

A refrigerated logistics platform

The THEBAULT INGENIERIE teams worked alongside CROC’FRAIS on the design and construction of this new refrigerated platform to enable them to deal with all of the logistics for the production of its factory a hundred metres away. This project, which measures more than 2000 m² is based around a unit with rack system used to store and prepare orders. An equipment area used to produce the refrigeration, a loading area and offices complete the project.

A year from the start of the project to the handover

THEBAULT INGENIERIE worked with CROC’FRAIS from the birth of the project. This tailor-made partnership led to a very efficient design taking into account all the imperatives including deadlines and the budget available to this company specialising in products for pre-dinner drinks. The project was also carefully worked on to fit in with the constraints linked to town planning rules. The potential to build an extension to this refrigerated warehouse was also taken into account as considered to be very important for the future.

Delivered one month ahead of schedule

Once the design phase was complete, the THEBAULT INGENIERIE works teams took care of managing the construction of this project. It took eight months to erect this building. The land needed to be prepared, the foundations poured in, the framework set up, the roof put on and then the cladding and woodwork went smoothly, as did the technical and architectural elements. In the end the project was handed over a month ahead of schedule.

Second joint effort between CROC’FRAIS and THEBAULT INGENIERIE

This project was the second time that CROC’FRAIS and THEBAULT INGENIERIE have successfully worked together. This latest project comes after an initial project was jointly developed in 2012 with the 1500 m² extension to the firm’s production unit.
