The challenge in the project
The leader in France in the cooked ham market, Fleury Michon wanted to develop a new production and packing unit and for the first time away from its traditional home in Vendée. By setting up in the Actipôle area in Tilloy-lez-Cambrai, this leading player in the food sector wanted to set up facilities near its consumer base. This site in Northern France also enabled Fleury Michon to target the North of Europe. This is one of the biggest factory sites in the Cambrésis, with almost a hundred jobs created. The quality of the construction was all the more important, as this was the first time Fleury Michon opted for a turnkey project.
Our response
The Fleury Michon brand is used to being very demanding in terms of building standards. Thebault Ingénierie paid particular attention to respecting all these quality standards laid down by the client. The teams started out from a blank page and managed to design and build the factory from A to Z, step by step with their client.
Today environmental value has become a major concern that must be examined. Thebault Ingénierie has managed to include this concern in its expertise. Therefore, this new factory for Fleury Michon took advantage of the best that is available in terms of the choice of materials and the technical options and the use of energy. The teams did a lot of work in the field of heat recovery in the admin departments and rest rooms.
