

The challenge in the project
LUCULLUS is a firm specialising in homemade pork products and in the manufacture of stewed meats and high quality jams. The firm is particularly famous for the product bearing its name that brings together foie gras and smoked ox tongue, a dish that is chiefly eaten in the North of France during the festive season. In order to cope with its growth, LUCULLUS entrusted the teams at THEBAULT INGENIERIE with the design and creation of their new production unit.
Our response
THEBAULT INGENIERIE worked alongside its client from the birth of the project. Its in-house design team started this joint effort with the establishment of a master plan showing the major features of the project based on the needs of LUCULLUS. This 2850 m² project is based around five areas. An office block and staff rooms will become the new headquarters for the company. A workshop will be dedicated to making the various stewed meats with the help of a production line. A second manufacturing area will be dedicated to handmade pork products. A multi-temperature storage building for raw materials, packaging and the finished products as well as the generators and a factory shop are also part of the facilities.
