The challenge in the project
The famous biscuit maker, SAINT MICHEL required an extension to match its production needs. The client was hesitating between a new factory or a modification of the current premises. Saint-Michel ended up choosing the second solution. What was required here was the ability to insert the new facilities in the existing factory, to increase capacity and improve work methods as well as the aesthetic elements.
THEBAULT INGENIERIE designed this project step by step with its client. The company carried out a lot of work on the auditing and analysis to determine the potential of the site and the ideal design based around production targets and the budget defined by the client.
Once this initial work was done, THEBAULT INGENIERIE used its know-how to reorganise an old, inefficient building into a modern renovated factory, able to keep up high production rates, without interrupting the ongoing production. The work was carried out in stages, based around a timetable that was determined in advance.
