The challenge in the project
SILL ENTREPRISES, a family-run business in Brittany, brings together a number of food SMEs. They wanted to develop their business abroad in particular by building a new baby milk production unit at the site which has been up and running for more than forty years. The firm awarded this strategic task to the teams from THEBAULT INGENIERIE.
From the birth of the project in 2014, THEBAULT INGENIERIE worked alongside its client to imagine, design and build this 19,300 m² food factory. It took 27 months of work to erect this building, based around an industrial process with many clean areas and a drying tower. When fully up and running, this industrial site will produce 20,000 tonnes of baby milk powder each year.
